Course Description

This course focuses on teaching the General Paper (GP) to beginning teachers of the subject at pre-university level. It adopts an integrated approach towards teaching Papers 1 (essay) and 2 (comprehension) of the GP, and aims to introduce teachers to a range of ideas, principles and techniques for the teaching and assessing of skills that cut across both papers. A highlight of the course involves observing and providing feedback to teachers delivering a GP lesson in their JC/Institute.
