Course Description

This course offers teachers socio-cognitive strategies for teaching expository/argumentative writing at upper primary level. The first session will consider the usefulness of expository/argumentative writing to students. Subsequent sessions will examine ways of developing the critical thinking and linguistic skills underlying effective exposition and argumentation.
