Course Description

In the first session of this course narratives written for children will be examined. These children’s books will subsequently be used as a springboard to demonstrate teaching strategies focusing on the writing of structure, setting and character in narrative. Each of these aspects of narrative writing will be linked to the teaching of language features needed for their successful accomplishment.
