Course Description

This course is based on recent theory about the relationship between text and image in reading material created for children. A theoretical framework will be suggested which will then be used to inform an examination of children's picture books, non fiction and ICT materials. Practical strategies for using these materials in the English Language primary classroom will be proposed and demonstrated.
