Course Description

This course will provide a basic scaffold for building understandings and expectations for teaching the foundation years of Primary 1 and 2. Teachers will get a chance to re-examine their pedagogical and assessment approaches, and to devise lessons to meet the unique needs and abilities of their pupils. In the spirit of SEED, this course focuses on the integration of skills. It is designed to be hands-on and practical, with the teachers actively engaged in designing effective strategies for the development of their pupils. Teachers will work in learning centres and work from their textbooks to build up a portfolio of resources specifically for their pupils and to use immediately with their classes.
