Course Description

This course will equip participants with the concept of how language functions in context. Participants will explore how different texts work to achieve different purposes. The course will examine in detail the organisational and grammatical features of different text types (namely recounts, narratives, instructions, information reports, explanations and expositions). This will then enable learners to more effectively talk about language in the classroom.
